Natural Wine Shop and Bar is seeking a passionate Bottle Shop Coordinator/Bartender/all-rounder to join the team in Burringbar three days per week. Starting Thursdays (11am-7pm) in our shop and, Fridays & Saturdays in the shop and our new small bar (11am-usually8.30/9pm, sometimes 10/11pm for events).

  • Must be available over the PEAK period as defined in our Terms & Conditions and willing to take mandatory leave for two weeks mid July.

  • Get some nights back. Our shop shuts at 7pm; bar shuts at 9-11pm.

  • Work outside the busy Byron Bay (avoid sitting in daily Byron traffic);

  • Combine retail, hospitality and bar experience;

Key duties and responsibilities include:

  • Meeting sales targets;

  • Coordinate the daily operations of the Bottleshop;

  • Ensure order quantities are determined and adequate stock levels are maintained for stock;

  • Merchandising to the highest standard;

  • Order and control packaging materials;

  • Bar / cocktail making;

  • Front of house service;

  • Minimal food prep and service;

  • Admin: Accounting, marketing, Socials

You must:

  • LOVE wine

  • Enjoy doing admin tasks between sales and service

To be considered for this role you will need to meet the following selection criteria:

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role;

  • A strong background in natural wine and beverages, and retail and/or hospitality;

  • Demonstrated ability in following written procedures

  • An eye for detail, with the ability to problem-solve.
