Natural Wine Shop and Bar is seeking a passionate Bottle Shop Coordinator/Bartender/all-rounder to join the team in Burringbar. Starting Saturdays in the shop and then provision for shifts Thursday to Sunday in our new small bar.

• Enjoy starting one-two day per week (regular Saturdays and floating Thursdays/Fridays/Sundays), with provision for more shifts.

• Must be available over the PEAK period as defined in our Terms & Conditions.

• Our open hours are Thursday to Sunday and shifts will ensure every second Sunday off;

• Work amongst a fantastic community and team of hospo experts;

• Get some nights back with alternating shifts. Our shop shuts at 6/7pm; bar shuts at 10/11pm.

• Work outside the busy Byron Bay (avoid sitting in daily Byron traffic);

• Combine retail, hospitality and bar experience;

Key duties and responsibilities will include:

• Coordinate the daily operations of the Bottleshop;

• Meet sales targets;

• Merchandising to the highest standard;

• Ensure order quantities are determined and adequate stock levels are maintained for stock and charcuterie;

• Order and control packaging materials;

• Bar / cocktail making;

• Front of house service;

• Minimal food prep and service;

• Basic data entry Xero - entering orders;

• Basic Instagram stories.

• Basic Canva design.

To be considered for this role you will need to meet the following selection criteria:

• 3+ years of experience in a similar role;

• A strong background in natural wine and beverages, and retail and/or hospitality;

• A strong awareness of Workplace Health and Safety& RSA obligations;

• Demonstrated ability in following written procedures

• An eye for detail, with the ability to problem-solve and adapt to change.

There is potential for more hours/more days as business grows.
